Mostue & Associates are our architects:
Mostue & Associates are an award-winning architectural design studio with a simple mission: to produce excellent design, to develop long-term relationships with clients, and to help build viable communities.
Founded in 1984, Mostue & Associates is a medium-sized firm organized into project-specific teams. We maintain the same team from schematic design through construction. Our best work is achieved in collaboration with clients.
Design solutions evolve through careful consideration of our clients’ needs, constraints, and dreams. This mission has helped us create or renovate over 10,000 housing units in New England.
The restoration of historic buildings is central to Mostue & Associates belief in minimizing the harmful environmental effects of new construction. Our design strategy combines respect for the architectural integrity of a historic building with detailed attention to the residents’ needs. We work closely with developers, tenants, and neighborhood associations to develop a program integrating historic restoration with modern building systems and life safety upgrades. This approach helps us return many important historical pieces to their original grandeur, while bringing them into the 21st century.
